There was a period in the mid nineties when Apple (without Steve Jobs) experimented with licensing the Mac OS to other computer manufacturers. That led to a rush of Mac clones. At the same time, Apple was introducing "Copland", its new OS, dubbed System 8. This program looks at several of the new Mac clones and reviews System 8. Demonstrations include the Power 100 from Power Computing, the Genesis MP from Daystar Digital, the Radius System 100, the Power PC PowerBook and the new Macintosh System 8.
